Education
Graduated from Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov Medical University of Varna in 2015. She obtained the PhD degree in 2021 after defending a doctoral dissertation entitled: “Surgical strategy in the treatment of multilevel stenotic–occlusive arterial lesions in the iliofemoral–popliteal arterial segment.”
In 2023, she acquired her specialty in Vascular Surgery at Pleven Medical University.
Qualifications
- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA), the Bulgarian National Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Angiology, and the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS);
- Licensed to practice in the United Kingdom.
- Actively participates in numerous national and international scientific forums, congresses, and conferences, with a substantial body of scientific publications cited by both Bulgarian and international authors.
- Certificate for Highly Specialized Activity in Endovascular Vascular Surgery (2025);
- Certificate for Highly Specialized Activity in Vascular Ultrasound Diagnostics (2025).
Biography
In 2016, Dr. Domuschieva began work as a resident physician in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Deva Maria Hospital, Burgas, where she was also enrolled as a specialty trainee.
In 2018, she was elected national representative of vascular surgery trainees in Bulgaria to the European Vascular Surgeons in Training (EVST) for a three-year mandate.
She has worked at the Clinic of Vascular Surgery at Heart and Brain Hospital, Burgas.
She is currently part of the specialist teams at Krŭgat na Zdraveto Medical Center, Sofia, Diagnostic and Consultative Center No. 5 (Student Polyclinic), Sofia, and Burgas Polyclinic.
