5. Bring any older test results (within the last 6–12 months) for comparison.

Your consultation begins with a detailed medical history, including symptoms, dietary habits, and previous conditions. This is followed by a physical examination, including abdominal palpation and assessment of digestive function.
If necessary, the gastroenterologist may recommend:

• Laboratory tests for liver enzymes, pancreatic markers, inflammation, food intolerances
