Biography
Dr. Borislav Bozhkov is a specialist in urology based in Sofia with over 10 years of medical experience.
He graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, he completed his residency training at the Department of Urology, Tokuda University Hospital (UMBAL Tokuda), and from 2017 to 2023 at Tsaritsa Yoanna – ISUL University Hospital. Since 2023, he has been part of the Department of Urology at Tokuda University Hospital. He obtained his specialty in Urology in 2022. He has undertaken further clinical training in Istanbul, Prague, Berlin, and Rome.
Dr. Bozhkov is a member of the Bulgarian Urological Society and the European Association of Urology (EAU). He is certified to work with the da Vinci robotic surgical system. He is an active participant in numerous national and international congresses, symposia, and seminars.
His scientific and clinical interests include prostate diseases, benign and malignant renal neoplasms, bladder cancer, and ureteral reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Bozhkov also provides consultations for children.
