Biography
Dr. Hasmik Gazazyan completed her secondary education in the United Kingdom in 2014.
In 2021, she graduated in Medicine, taught in English, from the Medical University of Sofia.
Since 2022, Dr. Gazazyan has been specializing in Dermatology and Venereology at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda University Hospital in Sofia.
She participates in international and national congresses and is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles and publications. Every year, Dr. Gazazyan takes part in free skin cancer prevention and screening examinations as part of the Euromelanoma campaign, as well as free acne consultations under the initiative “Together in the Fight Against Acne.”
In 2024, she joined a campaign organized by the Bulgarian Patient Forum Federation in schools across Sofia, aimed at preventing melanoma and sunburn. Together with the patient organization, she meets with students at a number of schools in Sofia and gives lectures on the risks associated with sunburn.
Her professional interests include clinical dermatology and venereology, as well as laser therapies for the treatment of skin conditions.
She is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Bulgarian Dermatological Society, and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).
She is also a member of the Management Board of the Association of People with Psoriasis and Psoriatic Complications.
She speaks Armenian, Bulgarian, English, and Russian.
